«The whole trip to India was a life changing experience and it was only when I was there that I became aware of the huge impact that our Gala Bhai, the money raised and the Vicente Ferrer Foundation has had in Anantapur and the surrounding areas.
The projects we raise money for are plentiful and make significant differences to the lives of so many in a whole host of ways from health services for the needy, housing for those without any, water reservoirs to maintain the little rainfall they have and inclusive education for all.
I was moved by the progress made thanks to the foundation and the work the volunteers do, so much so that I will be looking to go over again in the not too distant future to volunteer myself.
In the meantime I would like to ask for everyone to help us raise as much as we can to help fund the foundation and their amazing projects. And to quote a UK supermarkets slogan, ‘Every little helps!’ and the old adage, ‘A little goes a long way’»
